October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, I have shared previously how important Breast Cancer Awareness is to me, because of its impact on my life.
It is the 25th Anniversary of the Pink Ribbon, it symbolises so much. Breast Cancer affects both men and women, yes it is more prolific in women. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, so it is something we all need to be aware of.
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month around 5,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer but on the flip side of the coin Breast cancer survival is improving and has doubled in the last forty years in the UK. Mainly because of improved research, awareness and better medication to treat. Do your bit this month, donate or even be sure to check yourself. Knowing yourself will help you find abnormalities quicker, meaning getting treatment early.
Thanks Kay from Image Essentials for these amazing poses, that I am using with the prop within this post. To enable me to blog about something very close to my heart.
