8 years ago yesterday I set up an account, it was used occasionally at that point, I was hanging in another world and had a very succesful business. Second life became an escape from my virtual escape. Things happen and I felt more at home in second life than I did anywhere. Much has changed in sl in 8 years.
Please do not expect credits on the picture below but this was taken in my very early days in sl.
I think the great thing about second life now is the ability to be who you want to be is even more so. With mesh and bento we have so much more choice. I am so happy to have been able to see this place develop and make some life long friends.
We never know what this future holds so I can not say here is to 8 more but I can say here is to the future and may SL continue to develop and prosper and sure we are going to hate some changes intitially but we will learn to love it!
