To those who have been messaging and emailing thanks so much, I am back, all in all the nasty head cold I had just left me with minimum energy juggling recovery and real life work just zapped me a little. Ok not a little a lot.
But this post has been waiting for some time to be done.
Second Life is entering a new era and so many people know very little about it still. Bento is going to make our lives a whole lot more interesting, official information can be found here.
All in all we are getting a new skeleton to work with.
In order to see these changes you will need a Bento viewer. The official second life release can be found here. The Firestorm viewer is still in testing but is available in the Phoenix-Firestorm Preview Group.
Without either of these viewers you will see the bento goodness, I am sure other viewers may well follow very soon.
Like many Bento mesh head viewers I am still playing with my shape, getting something I am happy with the chance to wear the same mesh head and have very different looks can now be created both with shape and skin. If you are not all that creative with shapes there is a lot available on the marketplace right now!
I am really excited about Vistas Bento hands it is going to open up so many new avenues for pose and animation creators in second life. Click the image below and it will show you a video snippet of a few seconds of amazing hand work!
